History of Caravonica, Cairns Caravonica was the name given to the holdings of musical doctorate Dr. David Thomatis circa 1884. It was named after his hometown in Italy. A romantic version of the naming associating the Italian endearment (Cara) and his late wife (Vonica) is believed to be incorrect. |
