The circumstances of the sale were unusual in that I was living abroad at the time and compounded by low confidence in the housing market following the recent global economic crisis. The strategy proposed by Ben was to market my property with a minimum of two weeks in advance of it formally being opened for offers. A range of marketing plans, were made available by Powe Property and after discussion with Ben, I selected the platimum marketing plan which made available sufficient advertising and marketing resources for my purposes. The professional photographs represented the property’s exterior and interior extremely well and the property description narrative was accurately stated and relevant. Whilst abroad, Ben provided me advance copies of the photographs and advertising editorials, I also received feedback from friend and relatives living in the area advising that they had received the marketing material well in advance of the property being open to offers. The advanced marketing strategy clearly paid dividends as there were several group tours of the property scheduled on the first open day and several serious enquiries were made leading to an offer which was above my anticipated sale price. Subsequent to accepting the offer, Ben continued to keep me informed of progress towards completion of the contract and acted diligently on by behalf in all matters up to and including settlement. As the property was sold before the marketing plan had run its course, Powe Property refunded the balance of the plan. I would thoroughly recommend Ben August and the team at Powe Property. What could have been a complex and disappointing process under the circumstances was a relatively painless and stress free process resulting in a very satisfactory outcome all round.
